The Cantor's Voice February 2008 
As Rabbi Gotlieb is away this February on a well earned sabbatical, I will be taking this opportunity to offer a crash course in Torah trope for our membership. We have been steadily adding members to our rotation of Torah readers, and it is our strong desire to add more members to our wonderful pool of current participants.
Beginning on Thursday, February 7, and continuing each Thursday in February, from 3:30pm-4:30pm, I invite you to join me in the library for what will be a series of both the theory of and practical application of how to chant from the Torah scroll. WeĠll be putting our skills to good use later on this Spring, and beyond, sharing our newly learned skills during Shabbat and Festival services. Please note that you must be a proficient Hebrew reader in order to participate, and the class fee is $25, payable to Kehillat MaĠarav, which will cover our class materials.
