Bar & Bat Mitzvah

Program

Our 5th-7th grade students and families meet 3 times a year for an interactive B’nai Mitzvah work shop facilitated by our Rabbi and Cantor, with dinner and a themed art activity.

Preparation

Begins 10 months prior to B’nai Mitzvah with a weekly BM tutor, mastering all of the appropriate blessings, prayers, Torah portions and readings. The last 3 months of training will be individualized with our Cantor, in addition students and families with meet with the Rabbi to discuss the student’s D’var Torah.
